So this last Monday I decided it was time to potty-train Park. He is three and a half and I have been putting it off long enough. I guess I just REALLY hate changing poopy underwear. Poopy diapers are one thing, you can roll it up and throw it away. Poopy underwear on the other hand is a whole other realm. You first have to try getting the said underpants off without getting it all over their legs and then washing it out...bleh! Anyway...it was nice at the beginning of the week and on Monday Park spent most of the day outside pants less and diaper less. He peed on the carpet once and by lunchtime he hadn't peed again and hadn't had any successes. I was on the verge of giving up for the day and I decided to wait until after he and Annicka had eaten lunch. I put their lunch on the porch and let them eat outside along with Park's training toilet. I came in and was doing some school work on the computer when Annicka came running in. "Mommy! He did it!" She was just as excited as he was! Sure enough he had peed in the toilet. There was no turning back now. He had one more accident that day and two poopy underwear's the next. On Wednesday he finally pooped in the toilet after I could tell that he needed to go. Let's be honest, he was trying to hold it in with his hand. After that poop success he hasn't had any accidents, he has even woken up dry every morning and is sleeping in underwear too. YEA, PARK! We are so proud of him and he is very proud of himself. He finally got to play with his Mater car!
