Here we go again!

Well, I guess it was Park's turn after Annicka got her hair cut. Park has REALLY bad cradle cap. His hair was making it difficult to get all of the scales out and so even though I loved to give him a mohawk, his hair had to be cut for grooming purposes...hair does grow back...right?

Another Haircut

YES! We have a nose picker! Well...the last little while we have had a problem with Annicka. She likes to play with and twist her hair while she sucks her thumb...the problem comes in when we started finding clumps of hair around the house, and bald spots on her head. This was the reason we first cut her hair, just after Christmas. It seemed to help...for a while. Well, in the last week we have found a few more and today after finding two clumps in one day, I took matters into my own hands. I chopped off a good two inches and my heart was thumping the whole time. I didn't want to do it, but something had to be done. It's not the best haircut in the world, but it'll have to do. Hopefully it will be enough. She'll just have to be our little pixie until she is old enough to reason with about pulling her hair out.

Annicka Vs Karin

It's true, Karin kept talking about laying the smack down. But when it came down to launching that giant marble down lane 22 at Jack & Jill's, Annicka flexed with the best. It's the first time we've heard Annicka use 4-letter expletives to explain how good of a time she had! (she is sooooo grown up). Check out the final score, she just wouldn't let up on her Mom.

We just had to take some pictures, he was laying on the couch looking sooooo cute. And of course when we were done, Annicka had to get a picture in the same position. We sure have some beautiful kids...that's a totally objective opinion, I promise.

We also had Park's two month well child checkup today. 11 lbs 13 oz, and 23 inches long...those are both the 50th percentile...his head on the other hand was in the 90th. He's got a big head. We'll keep him anyway.

Annicka's Castle

Yes, that's correct. Annicka just got a new castle today. Courtesy of her grandma Copple. We set it up in the basement and haven't seen the light of day since.

On sunday we were at Grandma Chamberlain's house and we had put Toy Story 2 on for the kids. You know the part where Jessie's story is being told and a song is being sung, well, it's a sad part of the movie. Annicka was immitating Jessie's every move. She would even droop her sholders and stick out her lip! Then she walked out of the room like she was sad. It was so funny! Maybe you had to be there to see, such are those things most of the time. But it was cute.

We also got Annie her own potty this week. It's a whinnie the pooh one and she loves it. She'll go in and take off her pants and diaper without us even knowing and sit on it, and she'll come out and say, "All done!"...even though she has yet to go in it...........the funniest thing just happened, as I was typing about her potty Annicka came up to me and said, "poo poo, all done!" I went into the bathroom and she had actually gone! YAY FOR ANNICKA!

Here they are together after Park's blessing. Annicka got a new haircut a couple weeks ago and she thinks she's pretty stylin'.

We took Annicka to the bowling alley this last weekend and she had some fun driving on the arcade games. We didn't actually get to go bowling though, the wait was way too long.
